University of York bids farewell to Long Boi the duck

Long Boi, a mallard duck known for his unusually long neck, became a beloved figure at the University of York after arriving in 2019. His fame skyrocketed when a social media post mistakenly claimed he was the tallest mallard ever, leading to a viral sensation. Unfortunately, in May 2023, the university announced that Long Boi had likely died after being missing for two months.
