Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – As the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha elections approach, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ramping up its preparations, despite the official election dates still pending. The party has activated its leaders from Madhya Pradesh to play a crucial role in the electoral campaign, particularly focusing on the Vidarbha region, with Nagpur serving as the operational hub. Key figures from Madhya Pradesh have been assigned specific responsibilities for the election. Ministers Kailash Vijayvargiya, Prahlad Patel, and Vishvas Sarang, along with former minister Narottam Mishra, will oversee various districts in Maharashtra. Vijayvargiya will manage Nagpur city and its rural areas, while Patel will focus on Wardha and Amravati, Sarang will handle Akola and Buldhana, and Mishra will take charge of Bhandara and Gondia. Additionally, Hitanand Sharma, the state organizational general secretary, has been tasked with overseeing the election efforts in Maharashtra. National co-organizational general secretary Shivprakash and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav are also involved, with Yadav previously managing the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. Their strategy includes deploying Madhya Pradesh leaders to strengthen the party's presence in Maharashtra. The appointed leaders, who have experience from previous assembly elections across six states, will form teams with local leaders to ensure effective campaigning. They will also appoint constituency in-charges from Madhya Pradesh to further bolster the BJP's electoral strategy in Maharashtra.
