The crash took place shortly before 12:30 p.m. The aircraft was en route to Anoka County-Blaine Airport from Des Moines International Airport when it went down, resulting in the house being engulfed in flames. Thankfully, the residents of the home were able to escape without any injuries; however, the body of the pilot was discovered amid the wreckage, and Dolan is believed to be that individual as he was presumed on board by U.S. Bank officials. As of now, the medical examiner's office is still working to confirm the identification of the remains found in the crash site, but U.S. Bank has expressed their condolences, stating that their thoughts are with Dolan's family, friends, and anyone affected by this incident. The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the crash, and preliminary reports are expected to be available in the upcoming weeks. Terry Dolan, 63, took on the role of vice chair and chief administration officer at U.S. Bank in 2023, where he actively focused on driving growth and digital transformation within the bank.
