Stephen Mulhern steps down as host of The Big Soap Quiz after father's death

As Stephen takes time to mourn and recover, former Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay has been appointed to take over as host for the upcoming edition of the quiz show. This change in hosting also marks Lindsay’s return to the world of ITV soaps, where she gained fame playing Shelley Unwin from 2001 to 2006. ITV has not yet disclosed details about the captains or cast members for this year's quiz, raising speculation about future developments.
