The incident occurred on Saturday evening when the group, consisting of two men and two women, reportedly told staff they were stepping outside for a cigarette before fleeing the scene. In an effort to raise awareness and prevent similar occurrences, Tregenna Castle shared CCTV images of the suspects on social media. Notably, two of the individuals have been identified as having been involved in a previous dine-and-dash incident at The Cornish Arms in Hayle, where they also left without settling their bill. The group was seen driving a grey Mercedes, which has been confirmed as the same vehicle used in the earlier incident. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed they are aware of the situation and are actively investigating the matter.
