Story

A.I.S. Resources Limited, based in Vancouver, has announced a renewed focus on gold exploration in Australia as of September 12, 2024. This decision comes in light of rising gold prices, prompting the company to assess previous exploration data and initiate a detailed exploration program over the next six months. The company holds significant interests in three key projects: the Fosterville-Toolleen Gold Project, the Bright Gold Project, and the Kingston Gold Project, all located in the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt in Central Victoria. The Fosterville-Toolleen Exploration License, covering 28 km², is situated near Agnico Eagle's Fosterville gold mine, where promising drill targets have been identified. The Bright Exploration License, in which A.I.S. holds a 60% stake, spans 58 km², and the company is currently reviewing results from its 2023 drill program to define additional high-potential targets. The Kingston Exploration License, covering 167 km², includes a small-scale mine with a vertical shaft, further enhancing the company's exploration portfolio. In addition to the exploration updates, A.I.S. Resources has made a leadership change by appointing Muhammad Memon to its Board of Directors. Memon, a Chartered Professional Accountant, is expected to bring valuable expertise to the company as it seeks to expand its operations. This appointment follows the resignation of John McCleery from the board, effective August 23, 2024. The company is optimistic about its future prospects, especially given the Geological Survey of Victoria's estimate that up to 75 million ounces of gold may remain undiscovered in the region. A.I.S. Resources aims to leverage its strategic assets and leadership to capitalize on the growing opportunities in the gold exploration sector.
