Three Women in Bikinis Sought After Dog Attack on Mother and Child

Devon and Cornwall Police are actively searching for three women in bikinis who may have crucial information regarding a dog attack that occurred on Sunday evening at Sidmouth seafront, Devon. The incident involved a "Rottweiler type" dog that allegedly bit a child after a discussion between the child's mother and the dog's owner about the animal's presence on the beach. The mother intervened to protect her child and was bitten in the process. The attack took place around 7:30 PM, prompting immediate medical attention for both the child and the mother, who were subsequently taken to the hospital. Fortunately, their injuries were reported to be non-serious. A police spokesperson emphasized the importance of identifying the three women captured in a CCTV image, as they may hold valuable insights into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have acknowledged that the available image does not clearly show the women's faces, but it remains the only evidence they have at this time. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in their investigation.
