Sid Wilson from Slipknot Hospitalized with Serious Burns

Slipknot's DJ Sid Wilson is currently hospitalized due to serious burns sustained from a bonfire explosion on his Iowa farm. In a recent Instagram video, Wilson shared his condition while lying in a hospital bed, revealing injuries to his face and arms. He reassured fans, stating, "I’m OK, I’m going to be OK," and mentioned undergoing a chest X-ray to check for any inhalation of flames. The video showed his singed eyebrows and blistered skin, highlighting the severity of his injuries. Wilson explained that the burns were a result of remnants from a bonfire he had lit the previous night. His bandmates expressed their support, confirming that he still intends to perform at the upcoming Rocklahoma festival in Oklahoma next weekend, despite his injuries. Fellow musicians, including System of a Down's Shavo Odadjian, sent their well-wishes, emphasizing the painful nature of his injuries and hoping for a swift recovery. In a video recorded at his bedside, Wilson's girlfriend, Kelly Osbourne, cautioned others about the dangers associated with burn piles, describing the incident as him having "literally set himself on fire." She conveyed her concern with a visibly stressed demeanor. Following the festival, Slipknot is set to embark on the UK leg of their tour in December, with performances scheduled in cities including Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and London.
