In Milan, Italy, luxury sports carmaker Ferrari announced a positive revision of its 2025 financial predictions despite the looming 15% tariffs imposed on foreign car imports to the United States. The company unveiled the powertrain and chassis for its first fully electric production vehicle, dubbed the Ferrari Elettrica, which is set to be delivered beginning late next year. CEO Benedetto Vigna did not provide specific target production numbers or pricing details for the Elettrica; however, he emphasized the vehicle’s potential to attract new buyers to the Ferrari brand. The design for the Elettrica is scheduled to be disclosed in the spring of 2026. Under Ferrari's new five-year plan, it anticipates that by 2030, 40% of its product lineup will be traditional internal combustion engines, 40% hybrids, and 20% electric vehicles, with a goal of launching an average of four new models each year.
