Polestar recently announced details for its rear-wheel drive Polestar 3 electric SUV, which will be the most affordable version in the lineup. This model is priced at $68,900, inclusive of a destination charge, and boasts an EPA-rated range of 350 miles. Deliveries for this variant began earlier this month and Polestar aims to reach customers by 2025. Alongside the rear-wheel drive model, the factory in South Carolina will also produce a more expensive all-wheel drive variant, starting at $74,800. The company claims that the RWD Polestar 3 should qualify for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit due to its North American manufacturing and pricing, as it falls below the $80,000 threshold for SUVs.
