Taiwan strengthens agricultural ties with Japan and Australia

The gathering featured over 130 delegates, including academics, business leaders, and government officials, emphasizing the collaborative focus on smart agriculture and sustainability amidst global challenges like climate change. During the exchange, discussions included topics such as biosecurity management, investment incentives, and the exploration of bilateral agricultural cooperation. Moreover, the Ministry of Agriculture launched two international agricultural leadership training programs aimed at cultivating young agricultural talents and enhancing the skills of more experienced individuals in Taiwan. The government believes that investing in human resources is essential for developing a sustainable agricultural sector that can successfully navigate the complexities of international trade and evolving market demands.
