Chinese paraglider survives extreme ascent and faces six-month ban

Local officials cited violations of airspace rules, leading to a suspension that barred him from paragliding for a period of six months. Furthermore, his flying companion, Gu Zhimin, was implicated as well; he received a six-month ban for publicly sharing footage of the incident online.
