The first open beta for the upcoming Call of Duty game is currently available for players who have preordered or prepurchased the title, running until September 4 at 10 a.m. PT. Following this initial period, a second open beta will commence on September 6 and conclude on September 9. This staggered beta access allows players to experience the game ahead of its official launch in two months. To participate in the beta, players must preregister on various platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Battle.net, and the Microsoft Store. Those who subscribe to Microsoft's Game Pass can access the beta immediately on Xbox or the Microsoft Store without needing to preregister. For PlayStation users, the beta can be found in a separate listing on the PlayStation Store, while Xbox users can download it from the Microsoft Store. Steam and Battle.net users need to have the Call of Duty HQ app installed and must enter their open beta code or preorder the game to gain access. The beta experience will allow players to explore the game’s features, including a raised level cap and additional maps in the second beta phase. As players engage with the beta, they will have the opportunity to utilize custom loadouts, which will be unlocked at level 4.
