Police Seize Guns and Cash in Stockton Gang Arrest

In a significant operation targeting the "Tiny Raskals Gang," Stockton police, in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, executed a series of search warrants across 12 locations in the city. The investigation, which focused on various criminal activities including firearms trafficking and violent crimes, resulted in the seizure of 34 firearms, including assault weapons and automatic machine guns, as well as approximately 6 pounds of marijuana and a bulletproof vest. Authorities reported that over $100,000 in suspected illegal proceeds was also confiscated during the operation. The investigation aimed to dismantle the gang's operations, which have been linked to serious offenses such as robbery, home invasion, and illegal weapons possession. The extensive search was supported by multiple law enforcement agencies, underscoring the collaborative effort to combat gang-related violence in the area. Nine individuals, aged between 18 and 39, were detained in connection with the investigation. Among those arrested was 18-year-old Tyerese Nhean, who faces charges related to a home invasion robbery from 2022, alongside gang and weapon violations. Other suspects, including Josyah Day, Koby Chan, and several others, were apprehended for their alleged involvement in gang activities and weapons offenses. The operation highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address gang violence and illegal firearms trafficking in Stockton, aiming to enhance community safety and reduce crime rates.
