The Decker family, who owned the dealership for over 38 years, expressed pride in their legacy and the trust they built with the local community. Reeder Trausch Marine is owned by J Hurless and Monty Anderson, who have a long-standing friendship and professional history. They began their careers together at Ray Skillman Auto Center before acquiring Reeder-Trausch Marine. Their partnership has been successful, with Hurless focusing on sales and Anderson on boat servicing, leading to significant growth for the dealership. Skyway Capital Markets, an independent investment bank, facilitated the sale, showcasing their expertise in handling transactions for multigenerational companies.
