Christine Bumstead enhances coaching skills at Panthers training camp

Initially uncertain about her long-term commitment to coaching, she has since embraced her role, realizing her passion and drive for the sport far exceed her experiences as a player. Recently, she participated in a development camp with the Florida Panthers, which led to her being invited to their training camp and ultimately coaching behind the bench during a preseason game against Nashville. Bumstead's involvement with the Panthers marks a significant moment for women in hockey, especially following the hiring of Emily Engel-Natzke as the first female full-time assistant coach in the NHL.
