MP govt signs MoU with NDDB to boost milk production in 11,000 villages

On September 10, the Madhya Pradesh government formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Dairy Development Board to enhance milk production across the state. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted the initiative's potential to provide fair prices for milk to farmers in 11,000 villages, thereby contributing to their economic well-being. This agreement is part of a broader strategy to improve animal husbandry and dairy farming in Madhya Pradesh, which has significant growth potential. During a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, CM Yadav discussed the importance of cooperation in the dairy sector and the need for similar initiatives throughout the state. The Chief Minister expressed optimism about the central government's ongoing support for these efforts, emphasizing the collaborative approach between the state and central governments under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. Additionally, CM Yadav expressed gratitude for the approval of the state government's proposal to purchase soybean crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), set at Rs 4892 per quintal. This move is expected to further support farmers and enhance their livelihoods, showcasing the government's commitment to agricultural welfare.
