Gracehill, a village in Northern Ireland, has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status, joining the ranks of global landmarks such as the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall of China. This recognition is part of a transnational designation that also includes Moravian sites in the United States, Germany, and Denmark. David Johnston, chairman of the Gracehill Trust, attended the announcement in New Delhi alongside representatives from various governments, marking a significant milestone for the community after over two decades of effort. Dr. Johnston expressed pride in the achievement, emphasizing the community's dedication to showcasing Gracehill's rich heritage.
