On Wednesday, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai campaigned in Kurdeg, Simdega district, during the 'Parivartan Yatra,' addressing a large crowd despite heavy rain. He emphasized the necessity of a 'double engine government' to ensure sustainable development in Jharkhand and urged voters to support the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections. Sai criticized the current JMM-Congress coalition for corruption and mismanagement, claiming they have misled the public and failed to implement essential welfare schemes. During his speech, he referenced the legal issues faced by Jharkhand's Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who has been accused of land corruption. Sai expressed concern over the coalition's alleged corruption, citing instances of large sums of money found in the homes of political leaders. He argued that the wealth misappropriated by these leaders should have been directed towards the state's development rather than personal luxuries. Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted the achievements of his government within just nine months, including the approval of housing schemes and financial aid for farmers and families. He drew comparisons with the neighboring state of Chhattisgarh, asserting that the Congress government there has worsened corruption. Sai's personal connection to Jharkhand was evident as he described it as his maternal home, linking his family's roots to Kurdeg. The event saw the attendance of various dignitaries, including Union Minister Sanjay Seth and other political leaders, all advocating for transformative change in Jharkhand. Sai concluded by calling on the public to rally behind the BJP and remove corrupt leaders from power, emphasizing the need for a new direction for the state.
