DUI driver causes fiery crash injuring multiple in downtown Los Angeles

This collision led to a series of unfortunate events, with the pick-up truck veering onto the curb and hitting two pedestrians, followed by colliding with a building that resulted in the vehicle bursting into flames, creating a chaotic scene within the bustling downtown area. In a separate incident in Fort Worth, a football coach and his daughter were also involved in a suspected DUI crash that tragically claimed the life of another individual. This collision took place around 12:14 a.m. the same Sunday morning when a Dodge Ram was reportedly traveling the wrong way and collided head-on with a Ford Expedition. The driver of the Ford Expedition was pronounced dead at the scene, while Coach Spencer Elliott and his daughter were hospitalized after undergoing surgery. Fortunately, they are expected to recover, and the Keller community is rallying to provide support following this traumatic experience. The driver of the Dodge Ram is under investigation for intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault but has not yet been arrested due to his injuries.
