Story

MIAMI - A growing number of women in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami have come forward to report harassment by a man on a scooter. CBS News Miami has interviewed two of these women, who are speaking out to raise awareness about the troubling behavior and to urge for it to stop. The Miami Police have yet to identify the individual, prompting CBS News Miami to withhold his image despite multiple complaints circulating on the Brickell Living Group Facebook page. Chava Feigen, one of the victims, filed a police report after an unsettling encounter last Friday morning. She described how the man approached her outside a yoga studio near S.E. 8th Street and Brickell Avenue, persistently calling out to her and following her on his scooter. Feigen recounted that he made inappropriate comments, including a bizarre request to lick her feet, leaving her startled and uncomfortable. She advised others to avoid engaging with him if spotted. Another victim, Nyvold, shared her experience on social media, posting a video that captured the man repeatedly shouting about feet. She echoed Feigen's sentiments, emphasizing that such behavior is not normal and should not be tolerated. While the Miami Police have not made any public comments, a spokeswoman confirmed that they are aware of the complaints and are investigating to determine if any crimes have occurred. The community remains on alert as they seek to address this alarming situation.
