The deal includes $31.83 million in guaranteed money, marking a significant investment in the offensive lineman. Feinsod celebrated the agreement on social media, emphasizing Decker's hard work and dedication. Lions general manager Brad Holmes confirmed the extension during an appearance on 97.1 The Ticket's Costa & Jansen show, although he did not disclose specific financial details. Holmes expressed his satisfaction with the agreement, highlighting Decker's integral role in the team's culture and the importance of a strong offensive line.
