Georgia Man Captures Unusual Alligator Gathering in Okefenokee Swamp

His wife, Tina, estimated that there were over 100 gators crossing the canal in both directions, some even crawling on top of each other in the water. Although researchers did not witness the gathering firsthand, they later observed the aftermath and counted 151 alligators within a mile-and-a-half stretch of the canal.
