Ed Sheeran stuns fans with hot sauce at supermarket

Arriving in a vibrant orange branded truck, Sheeran served slices of pizza topped with the sauce, which is produced by Heinz and was launched last March. The hot sauce comes in two varieties, 'Tingly' and 'Xtra Tingly,' retailing at £3 per bottle. The pop-up event attracted large crowds, with fans eager to catch a glimpse of the superstar. Sheeran enthusiastically signed a variety of items, including blocks of cheese and CDs, which some fans later listed on eBay as unique memorabilia. Expressing his excitement, Sheeran remarked, "It was super exciting popping into Sainsbury's and surprising some shoppers," highlighting the fun he has had with the Tingly Ted's project. Store Manager Satwinder Hayre expressed delight at Sheeran's visit, stating it brought a unique experience to customers. Earlier this year, Sheeran also surprised primary school pupils in Brighton with a mini gig, showcasing his commitment to engaging with fans of all ages. Last year, Sheeran featured in the first advertisement for Tingly Ted's, where he humorously interacted with an animated bear named 'Ted.' The duo showcased the versatility of the sauces, pairing them with various meals, while Sheeran humorously advised against using them with bananas.
