In a tragic incident in Delhi's Dwarka, a 21-year-old woman from Assam, Sneha Nath Choudhary, was allegedly stabbed to death by a man identified as Raj. Sneha, a gym trainer originally from Silchar city, Assam, was discovered unconscious in her flat on Saturday. Despite immediate medical attention, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, as reported by NDTV. Preliminary investigations suggest that Sneha and Raj were acquainted and had recently experienced disputes. On the evening of the incident, Raj reportedly visited Sneha's residence, where a confrontation ensued, leading to the fatal attack. During the altercation, Raj also sustained injuries, particularly to his hand, and was found at the scene when police arrived. In a separate but related case, a Karnataka court has remanded another accused, Abhishek, to 10-day police custody in connection with the murder of Kriti Kumari, a young woman from Bihar. Abhishek was arrested in Madhya Pradesh after fleeing the scene of the crime, where he allegedly stabbed Kriti on July 23. Authorities revealed that he had been in a relationship with Kriti's friend and colleague, which may have contributed to the motive behind the attack. Both cases highlight the alarming issue of violence against women and the complexities of personal relationships that can lead to tragic outcomes. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding both incidents.
