Ryanair Forces Passenger to Pay 60 Euros for Baggage Fee

Elizabeth Keenan, a 31-year-old traveler, faced unexpected baggage fees while boarding a Ryanair flight from Dublin to London Stansted on November 7, 2024. Although she had already paid £29 for her flight and £12.40 for priority boarding, she was singled out in the boarding queue for a bag measurement. Keenan argued that her bag, which she purchased to fit Ryanair's specifications, properly fit the size criteria set by the airline. However, the staff claimed that the wheel was sticking out, leading to a demand for a 60 euro payment to board the flight.
