According to local police, a 23-year-old woman driving northbound lost control of her vehicle, crossed a grassy median, and collided head-on with the FedEx tractor. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, where police established roadblocks to manage traffic. Southbound Harlem Avenue was closed to vehicles, and the eastbound exit to 95th Street was also blocked off to ensure safety and facilitate the response efforts. The FedEx tractor was occupied by two individuals, one of whom was taken to Palos Hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, northbound traffic on Harlem Avenue was allowed to continue, while southbound vehicles were redirected to the westbound exit at 95th Street to alleviate congestion.
