Laura Byrne, a star from "The Bachelor," and her husband Matty J Johnson have recently acquired a dilapidated property in Ulladulla, located south of Sydney, as part of an ambitious renovation project. During a beach holiday, Laura expressed her excitement and some apprehension about convincing Matty to embrace their plans, particularly her desire to eventually relocate to Noosa. She humorously sought support from her followers, wishing for luck in her endeavors. The couple, who first met on "The Bachelor" in 2017, have expanded their property portfolio with the purchase of a clifftop house named Chante-Mer, which translates to "sing the sea" in French. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence, which boasts stunning ocean views, was acquired for $2.19 million, a significant increase from its last sale price of $62,500 in 1984. The historic home was previously owned by a United Nations translator who passed away in 2021. Laura and Matty, currently residing in North Bondi, have a deep connection to the south coast, as it is where they exchanged vows in November 2022. They view this new property as a place to create lasting family memories. To document their renovation journey, the couple has launched an Instagram page to keep fans updated on their progress. In addition to their new home, the couple also owns a holiday property in Bangalow, valued at $1.8 million, further showcasing their successful real estate investments.
