As the NBA gears up for the upcoming season, the Golden State Warriors have released their schedule for the 2024-25 season, which promises thrilling matchups and notable returns, including Klay Thompson's much-anticipated return to the Bay Area. The Warriors will kick off their season on October 23 against the Portland Trail Blazers, with their home opener set for October 27 against the Los Angeles Clippers. A highlight of the schedule includes Thompson's first game against the Dallas Mavericks on November 12, a team he previously led to four championships. This game will also be part of the newly branded NBA Cup group play, which runs from November 12 to December 3, culminating in semifinals and a championship game in mid-December. In addition to their regular season games, the Warriors will participate in a Christmas Day matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, continuing their storied rivalry.
