Bay Area Oktoberfest Celebrations Set for 2024

The Bay Area is gearing up for a series of Oktoberfest celebrations in 2024, offering a variety of events that cater to different tastes and preferences. San Leandro will host 'OkDROberfest,' featuring award-winning craft beer, live music, traditional games, and Bavarian cuisine. In Benicia, attendees can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with stein-holding contests, brewery pours, and a costume contest, all while indulging in German culture. For two weekends, Ludwig's will celebrate with authentic German beer and food, while Walnut Creek's annual Oktoberfest promises a lively biergarten, artisan vendors, and a dedicated children's activity zone. Other notable events include the 35th annual Oktoberfest by Gold Country Rotary, which will feature delicious food and live music, and a Munich-style celebration in downtown Clayton with a full-size carnival and arts and crafts vendors. The ninth annual Oktoberfest co-hosted by Steins Beer Garden and the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce will include live entertainment, contests, and local artisan vendors. The 17th annual Oaktoberfest will showcase traditional German food, live music, and a variety of craft beers. Additionally, SideTrack's Oktoberfest will offer family-friendly entertainment, authentic German food, and live music. Downtown Brentwood will host a celebration featuring a Sierra Nevada biergarten and a weiner dog costume parade, while the Campbell Chamber's festival will highlight German foods, beers, and various contests. Oktoberfest at Teske's Germania will also take place on select dates through October, ensuring that the Bay Area has plenty of options to celebrate this beloved tradition.
