Miami Man Arrested for Alleged Package Theft in Deerfield Beach

DEERFIELD BEACH – A Miami resident, Stanly Sabino Pimentel, was arrested on Tuesday after being caught on video impersonating an Amazon driver while allegedly stealing a package from a home in Deerfield Beach. The incident was reported to the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO), which detailed that Pimentel was seen wearing an Amazon vest, holding a box in one hand and a phone in the other. Authorities were able to locate Pimentel shortly after the theft, discovering the stolen items in his possession along with an iPhone 15 Pro found in his vehicle. The swift response from law enforcement led to his apprehension, highlighting the effectiveness of surveillance in deterring and solving crimes. Further investigation revealed that Pimentel may have been involved in a prior residential burglary in Parkland, raising concerns about a potential pattern of criminal behavior.
