Violent Rampage in Dallas

A chaotic scene unfolded during the morning rush hour on Tuesday as a 26-year-old Plano man, Angel Zamora Moreno, allegedly instigated a violent rampage on the LBJ Freeway in Dallas. Eyewitness accounts and video footage captured Moreno sideswiping multiple vehicles, stabbing a man, hijacking several cars, and running over motorists. One witness described the incident as unforgettable, highlighting the extreme nature of the events. According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by FOX 4, the turmoil began when Moreno collided with three cars and an 18-wheeler, which left his vehicle disabled. Witnesses reported that he exited his car, retrieved a knife from a red toolbox in his trunk, and began attacking others. In a particularly alarming moment, he was seen jumping on a driver’s windshield, causing significant damage. The situation escalated further when Moreno allegedly hijacked a TxDOT truck after stabbing a nearby motorist. He then ran over a TxDOT worker, inflicting injuries to the worker's leg, knee, and wrist. As a medical professional attempted to assist the injured worker, Moreno reportedly seized her unattended vehicle, prompting further chaos on the freeway.
