DOHA, Qatar — In a recent interview, Basem Naim, a leader in Hamas’ politburo, indicated that the group is open to conceding control over the Gaza Strip post-war but remains steadfast in its refusal to disarm against Israel. He acknowledged growing discontent among displaced civilians in Gaza, who are frustrated not only with Israeli actions but also with Hamas for failing to protect them.
