Card skimmers discovered at several Royal Farms locations

In the past week, card skimmers have been reported at several Royal Farms stores in Montgomery and Delaware counties. Marple Township Police discovered one skimmer attached to a credit card register at the Royal Farms on West Chester Pike in Broomall on November 9, 2024, and believe it had been in place for at least a week before detection. In another incident, a skimmer was found on a self-checkout credit card reader at the East Main Street Royal Farms in Collegeville, although the duration of its presence remains uncertain. Authorities are urging shoppers to review their bank and credit card statements for unauthorized charges as a precautionary measure.
