Police uncover marijuana disguised as food in New Jersey delivery

In Washington Township, New Jersey, a food delivery driver reported a suspicious odor coming from an Uber Eats order on Sunday, November 24, 2024. The driver had picked up the order in Lindenwold and noticed a strong cannabis smell while heading to Glassboro. Upon arriving, officers discovered that the contents of what appeared to be a burrito were actually over an ounce of raw marijuana wrapped in tinfoil, alongside a box of soup and a bottle of water. The police have since taken the drugs into evidence and are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to reach out to the Washington Township Detective Bureau.
