Hit-and-run suspect arrested after pursuit in Orange and LA counties

The suspect then veered off the freeway again, crossing a center divider and continuing on surface streets in Los Angeles County. The pursuit concluded just before 2:30 p.m. in the Boyle Heights neighborhood, where the SUV came to a halt near North McDonnell Avenue and Dozier Street. The driver exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by officers.
