Kursk offensive gains traction as Russia"s advance falters

Ukraine's military chief, Oleksandr Syrskii, has reported that the offensive into Russia's Kursk region, initiated on August 6, is yielding positive results by halting Russian advances towards the critical town of Pokrovsk in Donetsk. The UK has already pledged to supply 650 lightweight multirole missile systems to enhance Ukraine's air defense capabilities, with deliveries anticipated by the end of the year.
