Korean Street Fair Launches in Manhattan This September

Manhattan is set to host its inaugural Korean street festival, K-Fest, this September, celebrating the growing popularity of Korean cuisine. The festival will take place in Chelsea, spanning 8th Avenue from 20th to 22nd Street, and aims to showcase not only food but also community, art, and culture. Organizers hope this event will become a cherished annual tradition for locals and visitors alike. A variety of renowned chefs will participate, including Chef Bong Le Jo from 8282, Chef Jae Lee from Nowon, and Chef Sungchul Shim from Don Don and Mari. Attendees can look forward to an array of dishes, such as Dry Aged Pork Belly Skewers, Scallion Jeon, and the much-anticipated Legendary Kimchi Cheeseburgers. The festival will also feature banchan boxes, sesame mochi, and a selection of Korean beverages, ensuring a rich culinary experience. K-Fest is expected to draw large crowds, similar to the popular Dragon Fest, which is known for attracting thousands of attendees to its events.
