Vander's career began in the early 2000s as a liquor store manager, and he progressively advanced through various roles, including Area Manager and General Manager. In 2013, he founded Ace Liquor Corporation, expanding it to 15 stores, and later partnered with Alcanna Inc. in 2019, significantly contributing to its growth as one of Canada's largest liquor retailers. Under Vander's leadership, the SNDL liquor team achieved record performance over the last two years, showcasing his impact on the company's success.
