Frito-Lay recalls Tostitos chips over undeclared milk allergen

Importantly, there have been no reported allergic reactions connected to this product recall, and Frito-Lay has emphasized that the chips are safe for those without a dairy allergy. This recall marks the second incident in 2025 where Frito-Lay has had to withdraw products from the market over allergen concerns. Earlier in the year, the company recalled certain batches of Lay's Classic potato chips in January following reports of undeclared milk in bags sold in Oregon and Washington. Frito-Lay has reiterated the importance of food safety, which is crucial in protecting consumers with food allergies, who may have severe reactions to allergens present in otherwise normal food products.
