UPSC ESE 2025 Exams Postponed: New Dates Released

In India, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the postponement of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025. Originally scheduled for February 2, 2025, and June 22, 2025, the new dates for the preliminary and mains examinations are now set for June 8, 2025, and August 10, 2025, respectively. The notification for the ESE was issued on September 18, 2024, with the application window having recently reopened on October 18, 2024, allowing aspiring candidates to apply until November 22, 2024. Moreover, the UPSC has included changes in its recruitment strategy, stating that the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) will be appointed through both the Civil Services Examinations and the Engineering Services Examination.
