The Belgian city achieved an impressive score of 85 percent, surpassing renowned cities like Paris and Amsterdam, which scored 79 percent and 82 percent, respectively. The survey evaluated various criteria, including food and drink, accommodation, cultural sights, and overall satisfaction, with Bruges receiving four stars across multiple categories. The survey highlighted Bruges' appeal, particularly its charming chocolate shops, cozy cafes, and renowned Belgian beer. Tourists appreciated the city's compactness, making it easy to navigate on foot. Notable attractions include the Belfry bell tower and canal boat tours, which offer insights into the city's rich history and medieval architecture. Bordeaux secured the second position with a score of 84 percent, praised for its exceptional dining options and ease of navigation. The city is known for its wine culture and boasts a well-organized tram network, making it a convenient destination for travelers. Avignon and Amsterdam tied for third place, both scoring 82 percent, with each city recognized for its cultural significance and attractions. Geneva, however, ranked the lowest with a score of 60 percent, primarily due to its high costs despite being easily accessible. Rory Boland, editor of Which?
