The land, valued at approximately Rs one crore, was given in memory of his late father, Laxminarayan Pandey, a former Member of Parliament. This announcement was made during a family reunion ceremony of the Audhichya Brahmin Samaj. During the event, Pandey urged community members to unite for the betterment of society, emphasizing the importance of collective effort. So far, contributions have exceeded Rs 14 lakh, showcasing the community's commitment to this initiative. Kuldeep Bhatt, the secretary of the society, reflected on the year's activities and expressed optimism that Pandey's donation would finally bring the long-anticipated dharamshala to fruition.
