The Specialty Equipment Market Association, or SEMA, hosted its annual conference in Las Vegas from November 4-7, 2024. This major event in the automotive aftermarket industry attracted over 135,000 attendees eager to discover the latest trends in vehicle repairs and modifications. While the number of electric vehicle concepts was notably fewer than in previous years, Kia introduced several compelling plug-in models during the showcase. Notably, the EV9-based ADVNTR and the WKNDR concept aimed at outdoor enthusiasts demonstrated unique features focused on adventure. The ADVNTR was redesigned for off-road capabilities, featuring a three-inch lift and rugged wheels, while the WKNDR offered innovative modular features such as a mobile pantry and onboard compressor for outdoor activities.
