Tragically, the juvenile died at the scene, and the authorities have not released his identification yet. Aaron Kennedy Alvarez suffered major injuries from the crash, prompting an airlift to a nearby hospital. Upon arrival, the police arrested him for suspected driving under the influence (DUI). The impact of the collision also affected the driver of the Nissan Sentra, who sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. In a separate incident occurring the following night in Petaluma, another 14-year-old died in a crash linked to suspected DUI by a 17-year-old driver. According to police reports, the pursuit commenced after officers noticed a vehicle swerving on Lakeville Highway. The driver, in a black Kia Sol, failed to stop, leading to a high-speed chase that ended with the driver sideswiping another vehicle and subsequently rolling over. Inside the Kia, all four occupants were ejected during the rollover, and one passenger, a 14-year-old boy, died on the scene due to injuries sustained. Meanwhile, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were taken to the hospital and are reported to be stable. The driver, who is suspected of DUI and vehicular manslaughter, will face multiple charges after his release from the hospital, including evading police and causing great bodily injury or death due to his reckless actions.
