As the 2024 election approaches, Trump appears to be leveraging divisive narratives to counter the rising popularity of figures like Kamala Harris. The insurrection on January 6, 2021, marked a significant moment in American politics, with over 140 police officers injured and several lives lost. Trump has since attempted to reframe this violent event as a patriotic act, further entrenching violence in the political landscape.
