In Albania, a significant meeting was convened by the Speaker of the Assembly with leaders of independent institutions, including those in the Justice sector, to enhance cooperation aimed at advancing reforms necessary for EU integration. He highlighted the critical role of Parliament and independent institutions in this process, particularly in preventing regression in Justice Reform. Concurrently, Albania is establishing a Joint Consultative Committee with the European Economic and Social Committee to involve civil society in the EU integration process, marking a collaborative effort to ensure that the aspirations for EU membership are met.
