In March 2024, Woody Spencer, a 34-year-old from Exeter, England, was arrested after being implicated in the live streaming of his sexual assault on a young girl. The National Crime Agency (NCA) apprehended him following information provided by the Australian Federal Police regarding a disturbing video that surfaced online. Spencer attempted to conceal his identity during the broadcast, but investigators were able to trace him and his location. The NCA later managed to safeguard the young girl, although the trauma from the incident would have lasting effects. During the investigation, authorities uncovered a significant number of indecent images of children on Spencer’s mobile phone.
