In a devastating incident on Saturday night, a high-speed crash in Grand Prairie has resulted in the deaths of four members of the Rosales family, including parents Jessie and Lorena Rosales, along with their children, 6-year-old Angel and 13-year-old Stephanie. The family's 16-year-old son, Anthony, sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized. Witness Yvette Acosta, who was at a nearby gas station, described the harrowing scene as the family’s vehicle was engulfed in flames. According to police, the crash occurred around 8 p.m. when two drivers, identified as 22-year-old Anthony Morales and 20-year-old Jaime Mesa, were racing their Dodge Chargers along South Beltline Road. The Rosales family was reportedly turning onto Kingston Drive when one of the racing cars collided with them at high speed, causing their vehicle to flip and catch fire. Acosta recounted the chaos, expressing her anguish over the inability to assist the family during the incident. Authorities have taken both drivers into custody, with Morales fleeing the scene but later arrested on Sunday night. Mesa, who is currently hospitalized, is expected to face four charges of manslaughter once he is discharged.
