Asia Pacific companies face network challenges hindering AI ambitions

A recent IDC InfoBrief, commissioned by Expereo and focused on the Asia Pacific region, indicates that businesses are struggling to achieve their artificial intelligence ambitions due to outdated network infrastructure. The report highlights that 94% of surveyed companies feel their current networks restrict their capacity to execute large data and AI initiatives. The survey, which included responses from 650 technology leaders across Europe, the United States, and Asia Pacific, revealed that networking and connectivity emerged as the top technology priority for APAC businesses. Notably, 43% of organizations plan to enhance their investments in network infrastructure over the next year. The urgency for upgrading networks is driven by the recognition that AI projects demand greater bandwidth, agility, and performance, aspects that current networks often lack.
